Training
Work Product (Peer) Reviews and Inspections
Introduction
Work product inspections have been used as a key quality assurance activity for nearly 30 years. Properly executed inspections lead to increased accuracy of technical work, identify defects as early as possible in the development lifecycle, ensure that requirements are satisfied as the project progresses, and increase the productivity of the project participants by reducing costly test and maintenance time late in the lifecycle or after product release. Studies have validated that projects which conduct inspections throughout their duration actually complete in shorter timeframes than comparable projects which do not use inspections.
Overview
This full day course is for developers who create various types of work products and who have had little or no formal training in the inspection process.
