PSM Authorized Training Courses

Overview
DCG is an authorized PSM Transition Partner and trainer. The following three courses are available from DCG training.

PSM Briefings
Briefings can be presented to raise awareness and gain support for measurement in the participants’ organizations. Executive-level briefings show how measurement can improve management planning and decision-making. Other briefings are available that provide participants with an overview of the PSM process.

PSM Overview Courses
A one-day course which describes the PSM issue-driven measurement process and includes practical "hands on" tailoring and application exercises. This course teaches attendees the basic skills needed to select and apply software measures at the program level. A half-day version of the course is also available.

PSM Advanced Course
A three-day course that teaches participants how to implement software measurement on an actual program that is in development. A series of tool-based exercises will demonstrate the measurement concepts being taught, and also teach attendees how to use the PSM Insight Workstation.
