Establishing an effective and well focused software measurement program is critical to the success of long term software process improvement strategies. Learn how a successful measurement program can support the organization’s business goals. Understand the key measures that must be identified and then collected and analyzed in order to provide value to the organization. Once in place in the organization an effective measurement program will help to quantify improvements in productivity and quality. Additionally it can be used to establish internal performance targets or to set service levels necessary to govern outsourcing arrangements.
This two-day course provides the appropriate templates, definitions, data collection forms, questionnaires and reports necessary to establish and maintain a successful measurement program.
