Industry Data Views
As part of many of our software measurement and software sizing assignments, we collect non-proprietary data for project size, effort, duration, resources, defects and cost normalized using the function point metric. The data collected is scrubbed and stored in our Database. The primary use of the Database is to support our BenchmarkGPS consulting engagements. We also use the Database to add value for our customers in our consulting engagements across all Practices. The Database allows us to work with customers to analyze their data to give them realistic comparisons, data views, with their own internal performance and externally with thousands of comparable projects.
